This hat is for lazy hair days, bad hair days, or no hair days. It can be tied in many different ways and is reversible and adjustable!

The hat has padding around the front (optional) and has a long tie that can slip through loops in the back and wrap around to secure and embellish it. It is adjustable, so it will fit most head sizes, and you can adjust how much of your head to cover. You can also use the tie by itself as a scarf / headband (oh, the possibilities). And I will include instructions for a few ways you can tie your "headhugger".

The photos show different views of the hat as well as different ways to tie. But, really, there are so many ways to wear them. And I should note that they can be pulled farther forward than I have mine in the front view. It all depends on what you want to show...or hide.. :). !! I have another listing for the SAME pattern - it just has different photos for styling and fabric/color ideas. It is the exact same pattern so you only need to buy one!!

Beginner Friendly level - some knowledge of sewing required. The pdf file will include 5 pages of sewing instructions with 6 photos, 6 pages of pattern pieces and 2 pages of 'how to tie' instructions.

While I haven't sewn this yet, I have read and studied the file. It should go together easily and there is more than enough info for my skills (just above basic). Thank you! The only recommendation I could make is to add photos of the many different ways you can wear this to the actual pattern file. I've made notes in my sewing notebook about the variations but . . . my memory is fading daily, lol. Thank you!
